Bearens Still Slated for March Publication

The Bearens' Hope, the Fourth Novel in the popular Soul-Linked Saga, is still slated for publication in March 2012.  Without giving too much away, I think it is fair to say at this point that this book will be a real treat for Laura Jo's fans.  There is a lot going on in this book--more than in the previous works.   In fact, this installment is looking as though it is going to run significantly longer than the first three, maybe as much as 150,000 words, and centers around two major female characters instead of one.  My estimate is that book is about 90 percent complete and that we are two to three weeks away from publication, but this may move up or slip depending on "the breaks."  I have read several chapters and I like this one even more than the others.

New Blog for Laura Jo Phillips

With all of the interest from readers in the publication date of the next book in The Soul-Linked Saga (the comments on the her web page are mostly of the "hurry up with the next book" variety), and with questions coming from readers about Laura Jo's writing process and about universe in which these books are set, it seemed a good idea to create a blog to communicate this kind of information.  Because Laura Jo is very busy writing, the job of blogging has fallen to me, her husband.  I will manage the blog, write periodic updates, and answer reader questions, either by talking to Laura Jo or from my own store of knowledge about the Thousand Worlds (I work with Laura Jo almost daily helping develop the back story, science, culture, history, etc.).  So, look to this space for news about how the books are coming, and PLEASE feel free to use the comments section to ask any questions you may have about Laura Jo, her books, and the fascinating universe in which they are set.  We look forward to hearing from you, and I know Laura Jo thrives on the support of her many readers.
